  1. In Spanish, what do you say when greeting someone after dark?
    Show the answer

Buenas noches. Spanish uses one phrase for both hello and goodnight after dark. Where tardes ends and noches begins varies by country and habit, so follow the locals.

  2. Someone says 'Gracias.' You reply 'De nada.' What did you just say?
    Show the answer

You're welcome. De nada is literally 'of nothing', the Spanish way of saying it was no trouble. It is the standard reply to gracias everywhere.

  3. How do you say 'Glad to meet you' in Spanish?
    Show the answer

Mucho gusto. Use mucho gusto when you are introduced to someone. The usual reply is igualmente, which means 'likewise'.
